Onyj, originally a personal artistic movement became a clothing line February 2004. After careful consideration, the creator Obi Onyejekwe decided that clothing was a greater medium to display his work. His influence comes from his Nigerian background, various historical and modern artists and lastly New York City, the home of Onyj clothing. Like ancient conquerors Onyj represents a bold and ambitious life style. One filled with ruthless determination and a pursuit of the highest power.

(Ignore that earlier botched post...I screwed up!)
Wow, Obi, this stuff is looking great. I think I'm going to need some of your threads soon.
I really admire your knack for mixing the graphics of the past with the sensibility of the future. Nice to see another designer successfully riding the Maximalism wave. Yet, I think you've brought a unique perspective to the table.
I gotta' check this stuff out on the rack!
I'm designing some t-shirts, too, only they're for little girls. Ha ha!
